Maneka Khanna is a Senior Legal Program Manager at the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s TrialWatch initiative. Prior to joining the Foundation, Maneka practiced criminal law and human rights in New Delhi for six years before the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court and various trial courts. Maneka has also worked with the Peace and Security team at UN Women as a Legal Extern and the Human Rights Institute at Columbia University as a Research Assistant. She holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. She is qualified to practice in New Delhi and New York (pending admission) and is fluent in English and Hindi.
