Digital Associate

Emma Shores is a Digital Associate at the Clooney Foundation for Justice.

Before joining CFJ, she worked in democracy reform, voting rights, and human rights at NGOs and nonprofits. She has also been deeply involved in human rights work at the community level, supporting survivors of domestic violence within the criminal justice system and assisting migrants arriving in New York City after relocation from the Texas border.

Emma holds a B.A. in Politics, Rights, and Development and a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from New York University, with a minor in Spanish. Her senior thesis examined the erosion of democracy due to hyper-partisan media, focusing on the U.S. and Spain.

Emma is fluent in Spanish.
