The Waging Justice for Women initiative has partnered with the Women Lawyers Association (WLA) in Malawi to support CFJ’s first women-for-women legal aid clinic.
Building on WLA’s trailblazing work to provide pro bono legal advice to women and girls, CFJ is helping to scale up this work and ensure that WLA has the resources it needs to provide legal advice and representation to vulnerable populations across Malawi. We are also helping WLA expand its groundbreaking strategic litigation and to take on cases relating to sexual and gender-based violence, child marriage, and other forms of gender discrimination.
