Legal Fellow at the Docket

Yuliia is a Legal Fellow at the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Docket initiative, focusing on the complex legal issues of Russia’s war on Ukraine. Before that, she she did an internship with TrialWatch while pursuing her LLM degree. Prior to joining CFJ, Yuliia worked with several Ukrainian and international NGOs, focusing on the legal aspects of the Russo-Ukrainian war, which included international criminal law, refugee law, and human rights law cases. She holds an LLM from the University of Washington, where she graduated as Barer Fellow and Joan Fitzpatrick Fellow for Human Rights. She also holds a Master’s degree in law from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In addition to her native Ukrainian, Yuliia is fluent in English and Polish.
