Lauren Kelly-Jones is a Cleary Gottlieb Legal Fellow at the Foundation’s TrialWatch initiative. Prior to starting her fellowship and while an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, she focused on corporate and financial transactions in the New York office. Previously, she was a Fellow at the Miller Institute for Global Challenges and the Law and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Berkeley Journal of International Law. She has also been a Clinical Intern with the UC Berkeley International Human Rights Law Clinic, where she co-authored Non-Typical Forms of Torture and Ill-Treatment: An Analysis of International Human Rights and International Criminal Jurisprudence (IHRLC Working Paper Series No. 5) and a Legal Analyst at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. She holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law with a Certificate of Specialization in International Law and a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
